Work activities include the supply and installation of concrete-encased duct banks and associated components, as well as the installation of BC Hydro–supplied precast double-access through-type manholes.

Dewatering operations are required to facilitate duct bank and manhole installation; conventional sump and pump methods are included within the contract scope, while dewatering by well points will be treated as a change in accordance with GC 6.5 (Cost Plus). Upon completion of installation, all disturbed areas will be restored to pre-construction conditions or better, consistent with environmental and civil restoration requirements.
