The Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation constructed a new fuel receiving, storage, and delivery system for the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR), which included a marine terminal, a fuel receiving facility on the South Arm of the Fraser River, and an underground pipeline to Vancouver International Airport.
The project scope encompassed the marine terminal, tank farm, and the supply and installation of all siteworks, civil and structural works, as well as underground utilities, services, and pipelines for the Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery Project. As part of this work, a jet fuel pipeline was required to connect the tank farm to the airport, and Quattro installed over 1 km of 14-inch and 24-inch welded steel pipeline, built to CSA Z662 standards.
