Spring, Summer and Fall are the peak seasons for construction. It is also the time when wildlife, such as bears, coyotes, foxes, caribou, etc., are more active. The chances of encountering wildlife are greatly increased on sites that are close to areas of natural habitats, such as Quattro’s project sites in the Thompson-Nicola region of B.C., as shown in the photos. Quattro’s Safe Work Practices for ensuring the safety of all #QuattroCrew and protecting wildlife include keeping distance, keeping sites clean and clear of leftover food, having a means of alerting others on the worksite of potential dangers, and using personal protective equipment!
