The Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation constructed a new fuel receiving, storage, and delivery system for the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR).
It features a new marine terminal, a fuel receiving facility on the South Arm of the Fraser River, and an underground pipeline to Vancouver International Airport.
Quattro Constructors delivered comprehensive civil and utility infrastructure for the marine terminal and fuel receiving facility. The scope of work encompassed bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, road construction, and site grading.
Additionally, Quattro installed high-pressure fire water systems, drainage piping, ditches, retention ponds, and underground electrical conduit with associated vaults. The project also included the construction of over 2,000 m³ of cast-in-place concrete structures, such as building foundations, pipe rack footings, walkways, containment basins, and equipment support slabs.
