The Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project is a 16-km elevated extension of the Expo Line, stretching along Fraser Highway. The project scope included excavation of drilled shafts, installation of slide rail shoring systems, preparation for foundation works, and excavation, shoring, and backfilling works associated with multiple SkyTrain corridor sites.
Quattro Constructors provided carpenter and concrete crews to support guideway and station substructure construction, with primary responsibility for formwork, concrete placement, and structural support works for guideway columns and pier caps.
Crews executed forming, reinforcement coordination, embed placement, concrete pours, stripping, and finishing for vertical and cap elements that support the segmental precast guideway system. These works were delivered under restricted access conditions and coordinated with crane operations, segment erection sequencing, and corridor safety requirements.
In addition to the structural concrete scope, Quattro also completed supporting civil works across several sites, including excavation and slide rail shoring system installation and removal. This included full excavation and shoring installation at select pier locations, removal of existing slide rail systems at others, and placement of engineered sand and structural backfill to design grades.
Quattro also installed multiple interlocking slide rail assemblies under variable ground conditions and supported drilled shaft and foundation preparation activities.
