As part of FortisBC's Tilbury Island LNG facility expansion, this project involved the construction of structural concrete elements to support a new truck loading station. The scope included cast-in-place concrete footings, pedestals, and slabs on grade, designed to accommodate future mechanical equipment installation.
Scope of work included the construction of a new truck loading facility for LNG modules, including bulk and detailed excavation, backfill, and structural concrete foundations and components for the loader system.
Quattro completed work within an active industrial site, requiring close coordination with plant operations and strict adherence to safety protocols. Key elements included operating within a live gas plant environment, maintaining tight tolerances for cast-in-place anchors, and sequencing industrial construction activities to meet project requirements.
