Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery Project
Project Description
The Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation is building a new fuel receiving, storage and delivery system for the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR). It features a new marine terminal, a fuel receiving facility on the South Arm of the Fraser River, and underground pipeline to Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Quattro's Role
As part of the $350M project, Quattro Constructors constructed the civil and utility works associated with the marine terminal and fuel receiving facility. This includes bulk earthworks, detailed excavations, road building and site grading. Quattro Constructors is also installing high pressure fire water systems, drainage piping, ditches and ponds and buried electrical conduit and vaults. Quattro also constructed over 2,000m3 of cast in place concrete structures including, building foundations, pipe rack footings and walkways, containment basins and slabs to support mechanical equipment.
