The Highway 8 Emergency Repairs project was associated with the November 2021 flood events. Scopes included highway construction, demolition of existing bridge structures, instream work, concrete repairs to bridge structures, temporary bridge construction, riprap production and placement for revetment requirements on damaged slopes.
Quattro Constructors was contracted to contracting and construction management for the emergency repairs required to reinstate Highway 8 to the public. As the design details were limited based on extents of damage and access, Quattro Constructors worked hand in hand with Ministry of Transportation and their design consultants to establish and field fit a new road to the public.
