Engagement in Practice.
- In 2022, Quattro established a partnership with First Nation communities in Spences Bridge, BC to execute infrastructure improvement projects for the community.
- In January 2023, the partnership expanded to form an alliance together with other construction partners in response to emergency repair works on Highway 8 near Spences Bridge. Since its inception, this alliance has completed a number of civil infrastructure projects, cultivated economic development, and provided employment and training opportunities for local members of the community like sponsoring apprenticeships.
- Work in the Spences Bridge area employed over 15,000 hours of local First Nations hires, providing equipment, trades, and technical training on-site.
- In 2023, Quattro completed work with First Nations in Banff. Work included completing all the underground works for water and sanitary and electrical conduit routing.
- Since November 2023, again in partnership with the alliance, Quattro is completing the earthworks and civil works supporting infrastructure improvements in the Lytton region of BC. Working closely with local communities, this project has reached 54% diversity.
- In January 2023 the Cook’s Ferry Alliance was formed, in response to emergency repair works on Highway 8 near Spences Bridge. - Since November 2023, again in partnership with the Cook’s Ferry Alliance, Quattro is completing the earthworks and civil works supporting the Nicomen Bridge replacement. Working closely with local communities, this project has reached 54% diversity.
- In the Lower Mainland, Quattro has completed significant scopes in partnership with First Nations on 4 major infrastructure projects.
