Before commencing the Banff East Gate Project, one of our team members had the privilege of inviting Elder Charlie Crowchild from the Tsuut’ina Nation to lead a Prayer Ceremony. As a gesture of respect and gratitude, tobacco and gifts were presented to Elder Charlie Crowchild as a symbolic offering on behalf of Quattro.
Prior to the prayer ceremony, the project’s details were shared with Elder Crowchild. The collective purpose was to convey a deep appreciation to Mother Earth and affirm a commitment to protect and cherish her. The message is clear: we are here to nurture and preserve the invaluable gifts she has bestowed upon us.
