Hairsine Floating Bridge

Project Description

This project involved the replacement of an existing pedestrian bridge with a new floating pedestrian bridge at Hayward Reservoir. The work included removal and disposal of the existing structure, transportation of pontoon bridge sections from Stave Falls to Hayward Reservoir, and installation of a new floating bridge supported by marine anchoring systems and abutments.

Our Role

Quattro Constructors supplied schedule critical materials including shackles, chains, rigging, and concrete anchor blocks, and prepared and submitted the required construction submittals. The team installed the abutments and marine anchoring systems, including screw piles, marine anchor blocks, anchor chains, railings, and associated components, with support from diving and barge services.

Quattro also coordinated the transportation of the pontoon bridge sections from Stave Falls to Hayward Reservoir, completed the removal and disposal of the existing pedestrian bridge, installed the new floating pedestrian bridge, and carried out all project close out activities.
