The Broadway Subway Project is a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line, from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus. It will provide fast, frequent and convenient SkyTrain service to B.C.’s second largest jobs centre, world-class health services, an emerging innovation and research hub, and growing residential communities.
Quattro Constructors was contracted to install structural steel traffic decks over the Broadway Subway Station excavations. The scope included site preparation, cutting steel piles, welding cap beams, and the design and installation of temporary concrete support structures. Quattro also installed steel girders, deck panels, walers, and lower struts, along with temporary steel shoring systems to support excavation works.
