148 – STAVE RIVER PROJECT UPDATE

Earlier this month, Quattro initiated the Stave River Erosion Protection project, with the primary objective of stabilizing a 40-meter section of riverbank. To achieve this, Quattro constructed a multifaceted system, including the use of timber piles driven 3 meters into the riverbed, strategically positioned tree tops and root wads to redirect water away from the riverbank, and the secure placement of boulders using galvanized wire rope. The project was finished successfully, surpassing the schedule by a week and a half and ahead of the upcoming salmon spawning season. Our dedicated crew and partners put in substantial effort and long hours, delivering outstanding results. Great job, team!
