Project Update – Spences Bridge

Quattro Constructors have been making great progress on the Phase 1 reconstruction of Highway 8 near Spences Bridge, BC. At the start of March, we started a new working front, approximately 12km East of Spences Bridge and working to the West. The scope of work includes, construction of 3 bridges, demolition of existing damaged bridges, riprap armouring and several kilometers of temporary highway embankment. Quattro is also working to support the River Debris Removal efforts in the Spence’s Bridge area ensuring safety and environmental expectations are met and exceeded.

Proud to advance Indigenous participation through our projects, Quattro has brought on 30 new team members joining us from Cook’s Ferry Indian Band and elsewhere in BC. As the work continues this project, so does our need for skilled operators and labourers. Please visit the Careers page on our website if you or someone you know is interested in joining the Quattro Team!

We are proud to be working together with great partners on this project including, Yellowhead Road & Bridge, Northern Interior Aggregates, Cutting Edge Consulting, and the Cooks Ferry Indian Band in a joint effort to reinstate access to houses and communities along the Western end of Highway 8.
